The UK is set for some stormy weather over the next few days. As one low pressure system moves away we will be afforded a day or so of relatively calm weather before a deep depression hits bringing with it high wind speeds and heavy rain.
Present weather conditions (Above) showing the low pressure system which had caused the recent wet weather moving away into France but still bringing cold winds from the East.
The depression will hit over Thursday which may bring severe weather warnings to western Britain especially up in Scotland and the associated fronts will cause rainfall over most of the UK. Driving conditions will become difficult so it is advisable to plan for journeys taking longer than expected. Visit the Met Office website for further updates in your area.
Put away your shorts winter has definitely taken hold now.
